PARINGIN (TABIRkota) – The Balangan administration, South Kalimantan, has stated its readiness to support the achievement of the 2030 IDOLA or “Indonesia Ramah Anak” (lit.Child-Friendly Indonesia).
Regent of Balangan H Abdul Hadi said this during the verification and evaluation of the “Child-friendly Regency (KLA) of 2023” which took place on Monday (May 29) at the Benteng Tundakan Hall of the Regent’s Office in South Paringin.
“Balangan will be part of achieving the IDOLA of 2030,” he said.
Regent Abdul Hadi further said, the Balangan Regencial Government will always take systematic, integrated and planned steps, in realizing Balangan as a Child Friendly Regency in the province of South Kalimantan.
“Balangan implements a child rights-based development system, integrating the commitment and resources of the government, communities, businesses and mass media,” he explained.
These steps are carried out by taking into account the concept and stages of developing a child-friendly regency.
“We want to guarantee that our children’s rights are fulfilled, so that they can grow optimally”, Regent Abdul Hadi emphasized.
He also hoped that there will be an increase in community participation in efforts to prevent and reduce risks such as exploitation, neglect and violence against children. (ra/ratnasari)
