PARINGIN (TABIRkota) – The Regent of Balangan Regency, South Kalimantan (South Kalimantan), H Abdul Hadi, invited all local district communities to implement increased piety during the holy month of Ramadan.
This invitation was conveyed by H Abdul Hadi in his written remarks read by the Head of the Balangan Kesbangpol Agency, Syaifuddin Tailah during the 1444 Hijriah Eid al-Fitr prayer at the Al Akbar Grand Mosque, Saturday (22/4).
According to him, after one month of honing piety, now is the time to implement it in everyday life.
“I invite the entire Balangan community to become a driving force for the implementation of the slogan “Balangan Bangungas, Banua Babarkat, and Pambangun Makin Lakas,” he said.
Meanwhile, Khatib for the Eid Al-Fitr 1444 Hijriah Prayer, Habib Muhammad Assegaf in his sermon said that the purpose of fasting in the month of Ramadan is to fear Allah SWT.
“Really happy people who get the title of taqwa because Allah SWT promised ease of all matters for him,” he said.
According to him, the essence of Eid al-Fitr is a day to get good luck.
“The essence is not just new clothes, but having something new,” he said.
The real essence is increased piety and worship, after one month of fasting in the holy month of Ramadan. (ra/ratnasari)
