TANJUNG (TABIRkota) – PT Adaro Indonesia through its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Department recently distributed 42 automatic hand sanitizer stations to a number of mosques in Tabalong Regency.
The distribution of the hand antiseptic dispensers feels more special to PT Adaro, because the machines were made by employees of the coal mining company’s CSR Department.
Leni Marlina, Head of CSR Department of PT Adaro Indonesia, showed her appreciation to her staff for the automatic hand disinfectant dispensers innovation.
“What they’ve created have already sophisticated, and practical, too. I hope they will further develop the hand sanitizer machines, in order to provide maximum benefits to communities”, Ms Marlina said.
Regional Secretary of Tabalong Regency, AM Sangaji said, the innovation made by PT Adaro’s CSR Team are expected to inspire and motivate students and young people.
“The CSR team should upgrade or improve the hand sanitizer machines in the future. If possible, the invention can be patented”, Mr Sangaji noted, after receiving the hand antiseptics from PT Adaro.
Muhammad Zulfadeli Rachma, a CSR staff who is also one of the initiators of the automatic hand sanitizer stations, explained, the invention was inspired by the working system of a dispenser machine.
“We equip the hand sanitizer dispenser, each with a water and soap sensor, which will then produce steam to cleanse hands,” Zulfadeli said.
Unlike many other automatic hand sanitizer stations, the apparatus created by Zulfadeli and PT Adaro’s CSR team is also equipped with body temperature sensor technology.
“It is a mix of an automatic hand sanitizer machine and a digital forehead thermometer. We call it ‘all in one’ hand sanitizer dispenser”, he explained.
Muhammad Saputra, another CSR staff, said, after completing step-by-step processes for creating the hand sanitizer dispenser prototype, he and team started to produce 42 initial machines.
“In total, this project costs Rp 360 million”, Muhammad Saputra said. (sahrudin)
