MARABAHAN (TABIRkota) – Residents of Barito Kuala has now a new sports center which is called GOR Setara.
The B-type sports hall has a total capacity of 3,000 people, and is located on Jalan Tarutan, Marabahan Subdistrict.
Ministry of Youth and Sports through the 2020 DAK (specific allocation funds) spent Rp 14.4 billion in total for the building construction.
The sports hall of which both exterior and interior are painted yellow (even including its flooring), is available for a wide range of activities, such as badminton, volleyball, basketball, and different types of martial arts.
A badminton tournament called Bupati (Regent) Cup of 2021, became the first event at GOR Setara, which took place on Tuesday (November 23).
The tournament started shortly after GOR Setara was inaugurated by Regent of Barito Kuala, Noormiliyani AS. (sahrudin)
