BANJARBARU (TABIRkota) – Banjarbaru’s “Idaman” Swimming Pool has initiated a women-only swimming session every Wednesday, started from November 17, 2021.
Consequently, no males of any age are allowed to visit the swimming pool on Wednesday.
“Idaman” swimming pool which is managed by Youth, Sports and Tourism Agency of Banjarbaru, is located on Jalan Gembira, Loktabat Selatan.
Head of Banjarbaru’s Youth, Sports and Tourism Agency, Hidayaturrahman said, the opportunity will allow girls and mothers to swim comfortably and confidently, regardless of their swimsuits.
“Beside visitors, employees on duty and food stall keepers are all women only on the day”, Mr Hidayaturrahman explained.
Management of “Idaman” Swimming Pool has set relatively affordable entrance fees for visitors.
From Monday to Friday (except public holiday) a child will be charged Rp 5,000 and Rp 7,500 for adult.
On Saturday, Sunday and on public holiday, visitors need to pay Rp 10,000 per-person. (sah)
